Cannabis Production Assistant - Fairbanks, Alaska

Dosed Edibles Alaska, a small family-run cannabis company, is expanding!

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to join our tight-knit team. If you’re looking for steady year-round work in a growing local business, with room to settle into a dependable role or grow into specialized responsibilities, this could be a great fit. 

No prior cannabis or food manufacturing experience required. We will train the right fit!

Main Responsibilities:

• General facility upkeep: cleaning bathroom, sweeping/mopping front & kitchen areas, dusting, vacuuming, dishes, laundry, etc.
• Packaging gummies
• Gummy production tasks
• Labeling product for orders
• Order fulfillment
• Trimming cannabis flower
• Packaging cannabis flower

Growth Opportunities:

As we expand you'll have the chance to learn and move into other specialized positions in manufacturing, cultivation, and/or retail.

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday–Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
• Up to 40 hours/week (part-time for the right candidate)
• Overtime possibilities available
• $17–$19/hour starting (DOE) + $1 raise after 30-day review + $1 after 90-day review
• Up to 40 hours of paid sick time
• Up to 40 hours of paid vacation time (accrual after 90 day review)

Requirements:

• 21+ years old
• Reliable, positive attitude, team player, ability to work alone
• Continuous hands-on work, ability to stand/sit for long periods
• Must be comfortable wearing nitrile gloves, mask, and possibly a hair/beard net most of the day while handling product
• Lift 50lbs (sugar, packaging, etc.), work in warm/humid conditions
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to travel between facilities
• Pass background check
• Possess (or be able to obtain) Alaska Marijuana Handler Card (we can guide you—requires approved training course + $50 fee)*
• Possess (or be able to obtain) Alaska Food Workers Card (we can guide you—requires approved training course + $10 fee)*

*All fees will be reimbursed after a 90 day review. Dosed Edibles pays for all renewals while employed.
